Since 2017, he has performed on stage at several festivals such as “Drôme de Guitares” in Valence, “Arpoador” in Carry-Le-Rouet, “Carré d’As Jeunes Talents” in Chartres, at the “Festival d’Automne” in Tours, as well as in the cities of Lyon, Lille, Bordeaux, Nice, Saint-Omer, Clermont, and at the “Les Arts en Vacances” festival, organized by his family in Dordogne.
Louison is distinguished by his pronounced taste for Renaissance and 17th-century music. He has adapted works by John Dowland, Francesco Da Milano, Luis de Narváez, and Johannes Kapsberger for his instrument, and furthered his knowledge by studying lute and theorbo at the Bordeaux Conservatory with Laurence Postigo. He also maintains a great affection for 20th-century composers Heitor Villa-Lobos, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Agustín Barrios Mangoré, and Tōru Takemitsu, who are often featured in his recitals.
He is currently based in Bordeaux and has been teaching at the Dordogne Conservatory since 2024.
Louison plays on guitar No. 87 by french maître luthier Hugo Cuvilliez.
